It’s totally normal to be nervous about starting therapy. It can be scary to think of opening up or crying in front of someone new, perhaps fearing that it will be awkward and uncomfortable. It takes courage to start going to therapy.
Therapy is a space where you can be yourself and bring up whatever is going on for you, including feeling nervous.

Therapy is most effective when it’s consistent and allows space for deep exploration. I meet with clients once per week at a standing appointment time, providing a steady foundation for growth and insight. Some clients, especially during times of transition or emotional intensity, find that a second weekly session offers additional support and deeper momentum in their work.

The rate for a 50-minute session is $225. Therapy is an investment in your growth, self-understanding, and emotional well-being. Our work together is designed to provide lasting insight and meaningful change—not just symptom management, but a deeper understanding of yourself and your patterns. If you’re ready to prioritize this kind of inner work, I’d love to connect.

If what you've read resonates with you, the next step is to reach out by email or text. I want to ensure we’re a good fit, so I’ll ask a few questions about what you're looking for in therapy.
If your concerns fall outside my scope of practice, I’ll let you know and, if possible, offer guidance on other options.
If we determine that my approach aligns with your needs, we’ll schedule an intake session. This first session is a chance for both of us to get a sense of whether we work well together.
If at any point you feel I’m not the right fit, I’m happy to provide referrals to help you find the right therapist for you.

No, I am considered an Out-of-Network Provider with insurance companies. I can give you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement from your Out-of-Network Benefits.
Many plans offer out-of-network benefits that kick in after an out-of-network deductible is met. To determine your insurance company's reimbursement for out-of-network therapy, you can call and inquire about reimbursement for the code 90837. Also, be sure to ask if you have a deductible to meet before coverage begins.
-
Yes, many of my clients receive reimbursement for 30- 100% of the therapy session costs through out-of-network benefits by submitting a superbill to their insurance company after meeting their deductible.
Your insurance company will be able to tell you what your out-of-network deductible is and how much they will reimburse you once you meet it. You're also welcome to use your HSA or FSA account.

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share a bit about your experiences, what you’re struggling with, and what you’re hoping to gain from this work. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is a space where we can begin to make sense of things together.
I’ll also share more about how I work so we can both get a feel for whether this is the right fit. If at any point it doesn’t feel like the right match, I’m happy to offer referrals to help you find a therapist who aligns with your needs. My priority is ensuring you have the support that’s best for you.
